Dr. William Sidemo Holm is a guest researcher in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota. His research interests include biodiversity conservation, ecosystem services, environmental and ecological economics, land-use policy, and climate change. His current work focuses on evaluating the social and ecological impacts of land-use strategies, including different agricultural practices and conservation approaches, at local to global scales. He also investigates how policies can be designed to incentivize cost-effective biodiversity conservation, promote values from ecosystem services, and support equity.
