Dr. Sumil Thakrar is currently a Patience Cowie Fellow at the School of GeoSciences, University of Edinburgh. His Ph.D. was in Bioproducts & Biosystems Engineering at the University of Minnesota, his Undergraduate Masters was in Physics & Philosophy at the University of Oxford, and his postdoctoral training was in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Thakrar's research aims to link air quality and health with broader environmental and economic outcomes to inform sustainable decision-making.
